We Prioritize Underlayment Insulation
DominionX prioritizes underlayment insulation during siding installations. Underlayment insulation acts as a barrier between the siding and the wall, helping to prevent heat loss, enhance energy efficiency, and reduce external noise. This insulation layer improves your home’s overall comfort and can contribute to long-term energy savings.
7-Step Customer Journey
What to expect when you’re partnering with DominionX.
Problem Identified
Start your journey to project success by first identifying where you need help the most, whether it’s repairing your home’s siding or installing new energy-efficient windows.
Completed Inspection
Our team performs an inspection at no cost. We take your initial feedback and work diligently to inspect your property in preparation for step three.
No-Cost Report
Once our team has completed the inspection, they will return to headquarters and compile a report. You’ll receive the no-cost, no-obligation inspection report about your property and specific problems.
Personable Proposal
One of our talented team members will meet with the homeowner (likely, you) to review the report and provide a proposal for the issues we identified in the inspection.
Selecting Materials
You will work closely with a DominionX team member to select any colors, materials, and finishings for your upcoming project. This step in the customer journey is where we hold a magnifying glass up to your vision and get into the fine details.
One-on-One Meeting
A DominionX production manager will meet with you for a 1:1 meeting. This happens a few days before construction begins. Our production manager will describe the process we’re about to undertake and answer any questions you may have.
The Polishing
Our production manager will meet with you after the project is complete. They will take care of any issues they may have found along the way, as well as clue you into the final stages involved in polishing off your project.

Types of Siding
There are several types of sidings used in construction and architecture. The choice of siding material depends on factors such as aesthetics, climate, durability, maintenance requirements, and budget. Here are some common types of sidings:
Vinyl is a popular and affordable siding material. It is low-maintenance, durable, and available in various colors and styles. Vinyl siding is resistant to rot, insects, and fading, making it a popular choice for many homeowners.
Wood siding offers a classic, natural look and can be made from various types of wood, such as cedar, pine, or redwood. It provides excellent insulation and is relatively easy to repair or replace. However, wood siding requires regular maintenance to protect against rot, pests, and weathering.
Fiber cement siding is a composite material made of cement, sand, and cellulose fibers. It is highly durable, fire-resistant, and resistant to rot and pests. Fiber cement siding can mimic the appearance of wood, stucco, or masonry. It requires less maintenance compared to wood siding but may need periodic repainting.
Stucco is a cement-based siding material that provides a textured, plaster-like finish. It is durable, fire-resistant, and offers good insulation properties. Stucco siding requires professional installation and occasional maintenance, such as patching and repainting.
Brick siding is made from fired clay bricks, providing a timeless and durable exterior finish. It is resistant to fire, pests, and rot and requires little maintenance. Brick siding offers good insulation and is available in various colors and patterns.
Stone veneer siding is a lightweight alternative to natural stone. It is made from thin slices of genuine or manufactured stone and provides an authentic, rustic appearance. Stone veneer siding is typically easier to install and maintain compared to full-thickness stone.
Metal siding, commonly made from aluminum or steel, offers durability and low maintenance. It is resistant to rot, insects, and fire. Metal siding can be painted in different colors and is available in various profiles, including corrugated and standing seam.
Engineered wood siding is made from wood strands or fibers combined with resin binders. It offers the natural beauty of wood with increased durability and resistance to moisture, insects, and rot. Engineered wood siding is available in different styles and finishes.
These are just a few examples of the types of sidings commonly used in construction. Each has its own advantages, so it’s important to consider factors such as climate, architectural style, maintenance requirements, and budget when choosing the right siding for a specific project.
